Piper Tomahawk vs Cessna 152?
I am thinking of becoming a pilot and the Aero Club that I will start into account Piper Tomahawk and Cessna 152. No begin to know, but I have been for an introductory flight in a Cessna 152. I won good and bad of both models (Tomahawk has third lowest rate of accidents per hour flight to the Cessna 150/152 series comparable, however, the Tomahawk has a higher rate of fatal accidents per flight hour shift. The NTSB believes that the position of the Tomahawk's / Spin accident rate was three to five times that of the Cessna 150/152). I would like advice on which two-seat trainer i should start. I have researched them both, but cannot decides ????????????????????????????
Start with the Piper Tomahawk. That's what I did. I started before I even had earned on the negative aspects of "Traumahawk 'and I thought it was normal. As my advanced training I discovered I was a little harder fly straight and level at a Tomahawk. But the positives are good. 150/152 Cessna pilots in student develop bad Habbits burning face down on the wheel. In low wing, Tomahawk, this is virtually impossible. I took three classes (2.9 hours) to learn about Tomahawk land (which is seemingly impossible …) and that's what makes it impressive. Every landing is a fun (but tough) challenge. Posts are a breeze in the Tomahawk (everyone who has not flown a freak in the light of Piper Tomahawk 'and' momentum '), but have not tried it spins. However, if it was a huge danger, then all the instructors in my club would be dead. Some would say the Cessna 152 is almost too easy to fly. Many pilots who have gone to fly A320s and A330s still say their favorite aircraft to fly non – is the massive level that makes money, but the Tomahawk. It is certainly my favorite. It means putting down the Cessna 152, Cessna lovers but always bring the evil in the PA-38 as just talk what I am is impressive.
