Physical Education bowling is different from regular bowling in many ways, but the biggest difference is the equipment used. regular balls and pins are not used. What is used are plastic foam or plastic foam balls or nails. The used balls can weigh between 1.5 pounds to 5 pounds depending on the material they are made. These balls are made for physical education class only. They do not are made to be used in a real bowling ally. Bowling physical education programs are recommended for grades 3-5.

There are a couple of ways to play.

One way is a kind of football as. First configure the computers of about 5 as the number of students they have. Each team will have 4 vehicles and 1 keeper pin. The vehicles stay outside the zone of pins and balls used to try to pin down the opposing teams. They pass the ball and shoot by rolling the ball on the floor. Throw or shoot the ball is not allowed. Vehicles can pass block the opposition teams or photos using the feet or hands. The pin guards PIN stay in the area and try to protect their pins and balls go back to their teammates. The game begins with sharing the pin keeper balls into their vehicles starting the game in midfield. The game ends when all the pins of a team is low. (See diagram below)

This is played like regular bowling which tally with the number of pins knocked down. You can also include strikes and spares. The number of frames in the regular bowling is 10 but you can modify this number to adjust for lack of time also if you have players who in turn create the pins. The purchase of a cap would be a good idea for this game. The stop pins back is kept in the same area so it will be easier to pick up pins blown down. You really have total creative control on this type of bowler to adjust the number of students and time you have.
